How to do it
- 1 Dribble at the defender at a controlled speed.
- 2 Roll your foot around the front of the ball as if going that way.
- 3 Plant, then push the ball the other way with the outside of the other foot.
- 4 Accelerate into the space.
How to practise it alone
Walking pace first, then jogging. 20 each foot. 'Good' is a believable weight shift, not just a fancy foot.
Common mistakes
- ✕Too fast to be convincing.
- ✕No change of pace after — the move buys space only if you use it.
- ✕Ball too far from your feet.
