Set-up
Keeper in goal, server 8–10 metres out with a supply of balls.
How it runs
- 1 Server rolls, then throws at chest, then at feet, then low to each side.
- 2 Keeper sets feet, watches it in, secures every ball to the chest.
- 3 After each save, roll the ball out to a target cone.
- 4 Progress to low diving saves onto a soft surface.
What the coach is looking for
- ▸Set — still and balanced — as the ball is struck.
- ▸Hands behind the ball, elbows in, hug it to the chest.
- ▸Distribute quickly and accurately.
Make it harder
- ↑Add a striker for live shots.
- ↑Angles: keeper narrows the shooter's view.
